VISITING IRISHMAN STRUCK DOWN IN SYDNEY - HIT AND RUN
Tom’s client, an Irishman, was visiting Australia on a temporary work visa when hit by a car while he was attempting to cross a Sydney suburban street.
The car did not stop. While the client was lying on the road a number of cars swerved around him, one stopped just before reaching him, but a car behind did not.
It propelled the car in front over the client’s body, causing massive spinal and brain injuries. The client has since been repatriated to Ireland where he is under the care of his parents. The insurance company is denying liability.
This is a current case and it is Tom’s task to convince the court of the negligence of one or more of the drivers. He is confident of a good outcome.
