EMMA MEAD - ACCREDITED SPECIALIST PERSONAL INJURY LAWYER

Emma is a qualified Solicitor holding a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and has been an Accredited Specialist of the New South Wales Law Society since 2000.

Emma graduated from Bond University in 1995 and commenced her legal career at Stacks/Goudkamp in Sydney in January 1995. In May 1997 Emma was admitted a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Since starting with Stacks/Goudkamp, Emma has worked exclusively in personal injury law acting for injured persons.

Emma’s area of expertise covers motor vehicle claims, including catastrophic injuries and acting for children suffering serious brain and orthopaedic injuries. Emma also has worked extensively in compensation/common law claims, public liability, medical negligence and general liability claims. In June 1998 Emma relocated to Newcastle where she opened up a branch of Stacks/Goudkamp.

In October 1998 Emma was promoted to Associate and in December 2000 became a Partner of Stacks/Goudkamp. Her colleagues refer to Emma as friendly, compassionate and efficient.

Emma is a member of the Women Lawyers Association, the Law Society of Newcastle, the Law Society of NSW, the Australian Lawyers Alliance (formerly known as Australian Plaintiffs Lawyers Association) and is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury law.

In February 2004 Emma was appointed to the Motor Accidents Authority panel of Legal Practitioners.

When not practicing Law, Emma can be found sailing, golfing, or just taking time out with her husband and 2 boys at the beach close to where they live.
